Simple Mobile CRM support 3 different preference modes:
CRM mode, Note mode and Email mode.
Mode switch are available for free users.
Email mode is best to use as client for Simple Gmail Notes. (Learn More)

CRM mode is very similar to note mode, but with subtle differences in UI. (Learn More)
You could change the mode in the settings page of CRM website
CRM Mode / Note Mode:
When sharing the note, you would be able to set up opportunity info.
Email Mode
Share the note will directly go to the project detail page.
You could always change the mode in the settings page of mobile app
Email Mode:
In email mode, there are only 3 tabs: email, note and teams.
It's best used as a companion of Simple Gmail Notes.
Note Mode:
In note mode, you could see opportunity information, but note is still of higher priority.
CRM Mode:
CRM mode is totally driven by the opportunities, notes could still be put down and seen in Gmail site, however.
